"VERANO II" 2013

October
Companions for the Winter !

In 2011 she was launched but not masted.
My priority was on my mom who got cancer 97 years of age. She passed away on Oct. 9th 2011.
In 2012 and 2013 "Verano II" rests onshore due to dispute about the inheritance.
After I had taken care of the boat for 10 years, my father sold her to my Company OCO International Inc., USA in 2000.
In 1997 my father was 87 years old. I was holding on to my plans of emmigrating to Amerika as soon as the Republicans came back in offfice. As such my father and I agreed to put her out for sale. Months later we only had received few  inquiries including some from abroad, but no firm offer. In 2000 my father and I entered into an agreement that  I should take owner responsibility of the yacht in order to keep her going, and the ownership was transferred to my American company.   My plans of emmigrating to USA was, however,  interupted by "9/11 2001" and "War against Terror".
Years later in 2005, I learned that rumours had been planted saying she was not an Eight Metre and not a Johan Anker design - why?
Research started 2005 ends up that she is exceptionaly  - "One of the kind" in the history of Johan Anker and the International R-rule - read more on
