Notes and references:
One of eight 8mS yachts laid down based upon Johan Ankers design of 1917, drawing dated 29-11-1917. Converted in 1920 to the new international R-rule of 1919 given racing sail no 8N7. Returned in 1921 to the 8mS Class.
Seilas yachting magazine no 27 of August 24,1921 reports “Top 2”, 8mS by Björn A. Malm, Kristiania (Oslo) is sold to Torbjörn Holm, Gothenburg, Sweden. “Top 2” designed by Johan Anker and constructed by Anker & Jensen 1918, ref; picture in Seilas. (It is also reported that Björn A. Malm acquires Johan Ankers new 8mR “Brand VI” constructed 1921, sail no 8N18 and names her “Top III”.)
KNS yacht register 1919 has listed under Class 1 (S-1917 rule): sH29 “Aljuca III” with owner Aug. Stephansen, Blommenholm. Design Johan Anker, constructed Anker & Jensen, Asker 1918.
KNS yacht register 1920 has listed under Class 1 (S-1917 rule): sH29 ”Top II”, ex Aljuca III, with owner Björn A. Malm Kristiania (Oslo).
KNS yacht registrer 1921-22 has not listed 8N7 under Class 1 (R-rule 1919) nor sH29 under Class 2 (S-1917 rule), which indicates that she was not fully commissioned to the R-rule of 1919.
KNS yacht register 1933-34 has listed under Class 2 (United S-1917 and R-19107 rules): sH29 “Arabella 2” with owner Hans Reinhart Larsen, Oslo. Her sail area is cut back to 74 m2. (Hans Reinhart Larsen was owner of sH28 "Arabella" first name "Baus II" from 1929 which yacht he sold in 1931 or 1932 before acquiring sH29 back to Norway from Sweden.)
KNS yacht register 1937-1938 Class 2 (8 s.m. and 8 s.l. and 8mCruisers) has listed sH29 "Sara 3", ex Arabella 2 with owner Ottar Holter, Sarpsborg.
KNS yacht register 1947 has listed sH29 “Sölvi 3”, ex Arabella 2, ex Sara, ex Aljuca 3, ex Top 2, owner W. Skoglund-Johnsen, Oslo.
KNS registers 1949, 1951, have sH29 “Sölvi 3” with owner W. Skoglund-Johnsen
KNS yacht register 1954 has not listed sH9 (W. Skoglund-Johnsen i listed as owner of H51 “Sölvi 4”).
KNS register 1958 has listed H29 “Kråka IV”, ex. Sölvi 3, with owner Finn Klausen, Oslo.
