The long sloping underneath straight keel
typical for Johan Ankers S-design.
Compare with yard no 220 "Betty III" (Madelon) laid down in spring 1919
on the same drawing dated 27-09-1918 as yard no 223 before contract
suspension and termination.

FROM "SNARKEN" HISTORY PART I

Seilas Yachting magazine of April 14th 1920 reports about yacht construction
taking place at Anker & Jensen a/s boatyard in Asker, Norway spring 1920.
"One (1) 8mS laid down in accordance with last years drawing to be modified to new international for wholesaler Eilert Sundt and one (1) 8m new international for N.N.
These are; yard no 223 modified from S to R(new) for Eilert Sundt who named her "Verano II"
giving her sail racing no 8 N11.
The other is 8mR (new) "Sildra" designed by Johan Anker in Jan. 1920 given sail racing no 8N2.
